TDP-2-2000: continuous pyrolysis plant for shale-processing waste

Section: News

Last month IPEC and leading Estonian company on shale oil and shale-chemicals production made a contract on manufacturing and procurement of pyrolysis plant.TDP-2-2000 (2 units) is capable of processing finely divided ash-bearing fuel with the minimum capacity of 1500 kg/h each. This type of waste is composed of high percentage of sediments, resin and gasoline. The composition makes it a carcinogenic, toxicant and extremely dangerous waste.

TDP plant’s operating is based on pyrolysis technology — the controlled thermal decomposition process of raw materials in oxygen deficient environment. The yield products are pyrolysis gas, liquid fuel and dry residue. TDP plant’s continuous process is ensured by automated fuel supply system.

After the manufacturing process is completed, IPEC experts will conduct installation, commissioning, trial runs and trainings of Customer’s personnel. The commissioning of the first unit is scheduled by the end of 2017, the commissioning of the second unit — by the mid-2018.

It is to be noted that Thermal Decomposition Plant of IPEC manufacture is certified and fully compliant with the international requirements of European Directive «On the safety of machinery and equipment» (2006/42/EC) ensuring smooth procurement of the equipment.
