Continuous Thermal Decomposition Plant TDP-2-800 for tire pyrolysis was designed by the order of Gagarin Tire Plant Edesko.  The equipment was put into operation within last week.

Environmental safety is the priority of Edesco. Therefore, the company organized treatment of used tires and waste rubber.

The process of waste treatment involves two stages:

1. Mechanical pretreatment carries out with tire shredding, metal cord and fabric removal,  double-stage magnetic separation, crumb rubber (down to 10×10 mm in size).
2. Continuous Thermal Decomposition Plant TDP-2-800, which is designed for the conversion of used tires into commercial grade products. The capacity is 20 tons per day.

TDP-2-800 is equipped with 8-meter receiving hopper. In framework of project an heat recovery option is possible due to supplying additional equipment.

The waste material is continuously fed by screw conveyor into pyrolysis chamber. After process stabilizing the main burner capacity is lowered and heating is carried out by booster burners operating on pyrolysis gas.

Feedstock is converted into liquid fuel oil, pyrolysis gas and carbon black.

The fuel oil can be used for the needs of the enterprise or sold.

Pyrolytic gas goes for the heating in the process.

Carbon black is used in the production of construction mixtures, industrial rubber goods and for the subsequent activation to produce absorbents.

Heat of the process is recovered and can be used locally.

TDP-2-800 is environmentally friendly equipment. Emissions are minimal.
