IPEC performed the Contract 2016 on the drilling waste processing at the oil field! (VIDEO!)
Section: NewsIPEC completed its obligations under the contract with OJSC NGK Slavneft having achieved the results of 11 600 tons of drill cuttings processed. The main production facility is continuous pyrolysis plant TDP-2-800 of IPEC in-house manufacture.
Core idea of drilling waste thermal treatment is a transition to pit-free drilling. It would ultimately lead to the reduction of oil sludge pits or other waste accumulation pits.
IPEC began its activity as per the contract obligations at the end of April, 2016. Drilling waste treatment outputs are as follows:
- pyrolysis gas (for heating in the process);
- process water (for drilling solution preparation);
- fuel (boiler) oil;
- dry residue or subsoil (for road and site construction, reclamation of sludge pits and landfills, for deicing).
TDP-2-800 plants are capable of obtaining marketable outputs and no additional waste generation occurs.
